Work with people who take pride in their craft
We’re a small, senior, distributed team — rooted in East Sussex — bringing together engineering, design, and product thinking. We hire experienced practitioners and invest in developing emerging talent. If you share our values, we’d love to hear from you.
Real work. Real mentorship.
We don't have layers of management or an endless stream of client meetings. You'll work directly on client projects alongside experienced colleagues who take code quality seriously.
We hire experienced engineers — and we also hire junior developers and invest in growing them. We've been writing production software since 1991 and there's a lot of hard-won knowledge in this team. We'd rather pass that on than keep it to ourselves. Junior hires work directly alongside senior engineers on real client projects from day 1, with structured mentorship and honest feedback. The goal is to build engineers who are genuinely senior — not just more experienced at being junior.
We're genuinely excited about what AI tools are doing to software development. Not as a replacement for good engineering, but as a multiplier for it. If you share that view — if you want to understand AI tooling deeply and apply it thoughtfully — we'd get along well.
Our work spans software development, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and web development. You'd get exposure to the full stack, and the autonomy to approach problems properly rather than cutting corners to hit an arbitrary velocity target.
Senior engineers
- At least 5 years of commercial software development experience
- Strong opinions on code quality, testing, and maintainability
- Genuine interest in AI tools and their practical application in software development
- Based in the UK, comfortable with hybrid or remote working
- Clear communicator — with clients and colleagues alike
Junior & early-career developers
We take on a small number of junior developers each year and grow them into senior engineers. This is a genuine career path, not a box-ticking exercise.
- Solid programming fundamentals and a genuine passion for the craft
- Eagerness to learn from experienced engineers and receive honest feedback
- Curiosity about how things work — not just whether they work
- Based in the UK, comfortable with hybrid or remote working
